Autentica Mexican Cuisine is a family owned and operated restaurant in the heart of the NE Portland Concordia neighborhood. For almost one decade, Autentica has specialized in traditional Mexican cuisine. Inspired by Chef Oswaldo Bibiano's southern hometown of Acapulco Mexico. Here you will find classic dishes like pollo en mole (half chicken simmered in a house made mole sauce), posole( a traditional pork and hominy stew) camarones al mojo de ajo (fried garlic prawns). Since it is located in the Pacific Northwest, Autentica works with the freshest locally grown ingredients. Autentica' s brunch served every Saturday and Sunday morning draws inspiration from Mexican street food such as sopes (corn masa cakes topped with chicken and spicy chorizo sausage), huevos rancheros, and corn masa and black bean quesadillas. Our collection of over fifty tequilas and mezcals are a great pairing with the vibrant food. Come in and give us a try!
