Taking inspiration from Italian and Spanish cuisine, Dehesa is an acclaimed charcuterie and tapas bar, and sister to the much-lauded Salt Yard, Opera Tavern, and Ember Yard.
Opened back in 2008, Dehesa takes its name from a charming wooded area of Spain, inhabited by the black-footed Iberico pigs: which many consider to produce the finest jamon in the world. An authentic approach to produce sourcing sees Dehesa pay close attention to provenance, and a dedication to serving up only the finest available ingredients.
Alongside a list of sherries and Spanish gin & tonics, a carefully compiled wine list is matched to the food at Dehesa in Soho, with many bins offered by the glass. Italian and Spanish wines come courtesy of both popular large-scale vineyards and smaller independent producers, with a roll call including the likes of Angelo Gaja, Aldo Conterno and Sassicaia.
