Information

Tucked away close to London Bridge station and Borough Market, the Boot & Flogger is one of the original London wine bars and a true hidden gem. It was opened in 1964 by John Davy trading as a Free Vintner, a privilege granted by the Worshipful Company of Vintners. It is full of authentic charm and jovial service and with a treasure trove of areas in which to drink and dine. The seasonal menu focuses on classic British dishes, with best quality meats hand-carved off the bone, Donald Russell's award-winning steaks and the famous sticky puds. The wine list focuses on classics from the 'Old World' available by the glass or bottle and look out for some rare vintages on the fine wine list. The Boot & Flogger has the feel of a private members club, and is home to some of the most unique private rooms in the area.
