Located at the Strand Palace Hotel, the Dawaat restaurant offers refined Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist. The resident chefs use only the finest ingredients and traditional methods to create mouth-watering dishes full of flavour. Guests can choose from a variety of ?street food' options including Ragda Patties, pan-fried potato cakes served with an Indian salad and spiced yoghurt, or Samosa Chat, a crushed samosa topped with chickpea curry. The restaurant also offers two and three-course menus with signature dishes such as lamb rogan josh, slow-braised lamb shank in a mace and cinnamon curry, chicken dopiaza, and kozhi varutha curry, a Madras-style chicken cooked with south Indian spices.
