Information

The Vaults restaurant at the RSA is situated in an atmospheric former riverfront warehouse, three floors underground. The whole area was sympathetically renovated and restored in the late 1980s, exposing fantastic original 18th century brickwork. This unusual space gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere which complements the food and service, presenting you with a relaxed and confidential environment in which to enjoy great food. The menu changes fortnightly and combines dishes from around the world with the Head Chef's philosophy of sourcing as many ingredients as possible from within Britain to reduce the 'food miles'. The Vaults at the RSA select meats from grazed herds only alongside fish from sustainable stocks, which includes line caught fish and certified organic farmed stock. Species on the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) endangered list will not be served at the RSA. All dishes are prepared daily on the premises from fresh rather than pre-prepared ingredients. All taxable profits made by The Vaults restaurant are donated each year to the RSA by gift aid to support the charitable work of the RSA.
