Opened in 1990 by Andy and Terrie Andresky, 1776 has been a McHenry County favorite for over twenty-six years. ZAGAT rated consecutively since 1997, and winner of the Wine Spectator National Award since 1995, we pride ourselves on our service and menus. The Chicago Magazine attributes 1776 as one of the very first and best innovators in wild game dishes for the entire Chicago Metro area. Recently, changing hands in the winter of 2016 to another local passionate for the community and entertaining. The Andresky family leaves a great legacy to Rhienna and the dedicated staff and community. It's an exciting time for 1776 to pioneer into the future of Farm to Table offerings.
