Information
La Tequileria has an elegant atmosphere surrounded by beautiful, vintage, Mexican decor. It has a stage for weekly, live, musical performances and numerous TVs. It is owned and operated by the Suarez Family.
Sergio Suarez Sr. was born in Jalisco, Mexico; where tequila originates from. His son David Suarez, lead the efforts in creating La Tequileria Premium Tequila Lounge and Mexican Tapas. David saw the need for a place that captured the essence of their Mexican heritage and its sophistication. In thinking through La Tequileria's concept, he realized that the Chicago drink scene and nightlife didn't offer a place that focused on tequila. Chicago needed a place where people can learn, taste, and experience tequila as if you were in Jalisco, Mexico yourself. Through that vision, La Tequileria was born and opened its doors in late April 2017. In November 2017, the services extended to serve modern twist on Mexican Tapas!
