So rumor has it, our upstairs private room (Boom Boom Room) is haunted. I am no expert on this sort of thing, but I know without any doubt, our food is exquisite. Built back in 1955, changing over the years from different restaurants, Acero Urban Cantina now sits quietly tucked away on South Broadway. A hidden gem of many facets, Acero offers fresh, simple and contemporary cuisine, ambiance with character, an old Denver mansion with a trove full of secrets and perhaps even a couple of ghosts. Whether you are stopping by with your dogs on Wino Wednesday to relax on one of the patios, the underground Mambo Salsa Club on Friday night, or to visit the lingering souls in the Boom Boom Room on Taco Tuesday, we have something for everyone here and we invite you in for a drink or meal. Yes, another Mexican Restaurant, but not just any restaurant.... Acero is the best kept secret in Denver...for now.
