Welcome to Avista Restaurant & Bar – contemporary 3 AA Rosettes Italian dining. The executive chef of Avista is Arturo Granato. Chef Arturo began his culinary adventure in the Hotel Bauer's gourmet Restaurant "De Pisis", widely acknowledged as one of the two best restaurants in the Venice region, as well as the Michelin starred Restaurant Relais Vecchia Lugana in Brescia, Italy, before moving to the double-Michelin starred Greenhouse in Mayfair, to work under the tutelage of the highly acclaimed Arnaud Bignon. Since his arrival at Avista, Arturo has given the menu a contemporary twist and changes his dishes regularly to take advantage of the freshest seasonal produce. Under the direction of Chef Arturo, Avista has been awarded 3 Rosettes by the prestigious AA Food Guide. This award recognises intense ambition, a passion for excellence, superb technical skills and an appreciation of culinary traditions combined with a desire for exploration and improvement. On the former site of Brian Turner Mayfair, Avista is directly accessible from Grosvenor Square. The 75-seat restaurant, with a separate bar for up to 25, also features a raised section seating 14 and a private dining room for 8. Avista was designed by David d'Almada, whose other restaurant projects have included La Petite Maison and Zafferano. Avista is open Monday to Friday for lunch and Monday to Saturday evening for dinner.
