Green Room at The Curtain

Green Room’s gorgeous new afternoon tea should hit the spot. They’ve collaborated with Hackney Herbal, a local social enterprise, to offer a range of classic and bespoke teas, including their very own The Curtain blend: spearmint, echinacea, sage and liquorice, plus classic Earl Grey and English Breakfast teas.
When it comes to the food, they’re updating a classic, with their G&T cucumber sandwiches, and adding a little Red Rooster flair with dishes like devilled eggs. These will be served alongside freshly-baked scones with jam and clotted cream and followed by a selection of spectacular cakes, prepared by our pastry team.
If you’re in a celebratory mood, then you can upgrade to a champagne tea, with a choice of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV, Veuve Clicquot Rosé Brut NV or even opt for their show-stopping Veuve Clicquot Rich teapot, a whole bottle of champagne, infused with a tea of your choice (the rose, rosemary and fennel is a winner). Or should you be after something a little lighter, then their Cream Tea includes scones, jam, clotted cream and a tea of your choice.
