Carmella's Plates and Pints

Carmella’s Plates & Pints is the first restaurant for co-owners, Carmella Salem and Michael Alberter. They have both been in the restaurant and bar industry for more than 30 years. The kitchen creates a variety of upscale comfort cuisine.
They both felt that the Southside was ready for a more upscale ambiance that would attract and support a more mature audience. The decor has a lodge-like feel due to the wooden beamed cathedral ceiling, an open fireplace, taxidermy and stained glass windows that adorn the dining room. Our guests feel as though they are tucked away in a warm and cozy ski lodge in the heart of Southside.
A Local Butcher delivers meats daily and they are always looking for unique items to prepare in new and inventive ways. Wild game plates can be on the menu such as a couple of staple dishes like our Bison Burger and Duck Confit tacos. The menu changes seasonally and nightly specials are prepared with the hopes of making it on our ever-evolving menu.
