Information

Shaka Zulu is an iconic restaurant, bar and club bringing a taste of Africa to the heart of London. Based over 2 floors, Shaka Zulu combines some of the culinary specialities of South Africa in its magnificent Braai restaurant. The food of South Africa is often referred to as 'rainbow cuisine' because its dishes are influenced by such a wide variety of multicultural sources, from the indigenous Zulu and Sotho speaking people of South Africa to immigrants from Cape Malay, Malaysia and Java. Specialising in delicious homemade biltong and pickled fish as well as some authentic dishes like bredie, bobotie, sosaties and of course the famous boerewors sausage but to name a few, Shaka Zulu also serve fine steaks and seafood. For more adventurous diners, Shaka Zulu serves all types of game meat from zebra to ostrich and springbok. Shaka Zulu features marble bars, African carvings, 60-foot tall carved wooden murals, a delicate water-garden and wooden elephants. A 30-foot hand-crafted bronze statue also guards the entrance. The King's Club features DJs, music and dancing until 2am. Shaka LIVE evenings feature dinner and live performances by international artists including Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Mica Paris and more. These nights come with a cover charge for live music.
