Robert Silvestri established Areo Restaurant in 1987. For over 29 years Areo has become an iconic Brooklyn destination where celebrity and local characters dine side by side.
Robert grew up in Manhattan’s Little Italy surrounded by VIPs like President Ronald Regan who dined during his presidency at Roberts family owned restaurant Angelo’s of Mulberry Street (est. 1902). From his influential nurturing days Robert has precast for Areo a rare dining experience characteristic of sincere Neapolitan hospitality.
